Comparison and Update

This dialog enables you to compare the actual diagram with another version stored in the repository or in the file system, and afterwards update the currently opened model with changes of the other version. The file format can be Visio (.vsd) or BPMN-XML (.bpmn).

If the file is stored in the file system, choose the button “>>>” in the section External Source to locate it.

If the file is stored in the repository, choose the button “>>>” in the section Team Repository to locate it.

Finally, click Update to get an overview of the differences between the two models. Afterwards you have the option to adopt the changes all changes to your current diagram.
